Closing off March MOTR Madness with this fun two-part MOTR and Konnector workout sequence!
Roll Over w/Scissors
This particular exercise was inspired by the Konnector system. As a system that allows the limbs to move as 2 separate entities, the MOTR gives us a greater range to work with. I love how the body of the MOTR provides centering feedback to the spine and creates greater difficulty in balance. Blending spinal mobility and pelvic stability into one exercise, this variation definitely has some work cut out for you. Increasing the resistance of the straps will provide better assistance for hip sustainability.
Shocking the Sling System
Placing the opposite foot from hand into each strap and placing the supporting knee on the body of the MOTR, we are firing up the balance and posterior sling system! By turning away from the MOTR Arm, we are placing direct emphasis on the hip extensors and knee flexors (glutes and hams!) Honestly, I enjoy this line of pull much more than facing the arm. Taking it one step further, we can take the arm and leg open in opposition to challenge overall stability, thus shocking the stability core!
Hope you try these fun MOTR Konnector Workouts!
