I absolutely love the MOTR for so many reasons! The variety it provides to my workout is unending.
In this particular variation of the Teaser, I have removed the MOTR arm from the apparatus in order to increase the challenge of an already difficult movement. Utilizing the MOTR arm forced me to stabilize with my shoulders to keep a good sense of balance on both sides of the body during the abdominal series. With my feet in the straps, it challenged me to work against resistance, tapping into my hip extensors during an exercise that is usually hip flexor dominant. Talk about difficult, but also so much fun and functional!
Oh and just in case you’re in the Southern California area! I will be hosting a donation-based community mat class to take place the morning of 4th of July at 9:30am. Class will take place at KinetiCore Pilates Therapy in Irvine, CA. All proceeds will support Veterans First OC!
