Snack: Pumpkin Spice Chia Grød Bowl-to-Go
This Fall/Winter season is a busy time in my home. Between preparing for my Pilates group classes, my twins soccer practice, and filming workouts for my Online Studio. I need something yummy and quick. In Denmark, we make grød, which is similar to a porridge-yogurt consistency.
If you love Pumpkin spice latte then you are in for a treat. Pumpkin Spice Chia Grød to go, has all the flavors you can make at home and avoid a long line at the coffee shop.
4 tbsp Maple Syrup
150ml almond mils
100g pumpkin puree
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
¼ tsp pumpkin spice
500g organic oats
Mix everything in a mason jar with a lid. Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight.
Option: I like to add my favorite nuts and lactose free bear banana yogurt on top while I enjoy it between sessions.
Do you want fresh pumpkin puree: Cut your pumpkin along the ridges in slices. Separate the skin of the pumpkin from the yummy part. Dice the pumpkin slices. Boil or steam the pumpkin until soft and then blend in a food processor or blender.
