5 Things to Know About the Naboso® Neuro Ball

Incorporating a daily foot release is a simple yet effective way for relieving foot pain, improving foot flexibility, and promoting overall wellness.  There are many choices when it comes to foot release tools, but one product that stands out from the rest is the Neuro Ball by Naboso®.

At first glance, one may think the Neuro Ball is like any other spiky ball on the market, however this could not be further from the truth.   Below are 5 things everyone should know about the Neuro Ball and what differentiates it from all other foot products.

1. Mechanoceptive Texture

One of the key features of the Neuro Ball is that it is covered with small little pyramids about 1.5mm tall.   This texture found on the Neuro Ball is specifically designed to stimulate the same nerves in the feet that we use in the hands when we read braille.  This texture is referred to as two-point discrimination and been shown to not only stimulate the nerves, but it can also improve microcirculation in the feet.

2. Two Dome Design

Another key feature is that the Neuro Ball is not only a ball.    The Neuro Ball can go from a ball, into two-domes, allowing for a more versatile foot release experience.  To open the Neuro Ball, simply place the ball on the floor with the seam facing up, put the heel on the seam and press down.

3. Ergonomic Foot Release

One of the most frustrating parts of releasing the feet, is that the hips are inevitably shifted to the side.   However, with the two-dome design of the Neuro Ball, both feet can be released simultaneously and with a 4.5cm dome height, the pelvis is able to stay relatively neutral during the pin point foot release.

4. Micro Ball Inside

One of the best surprises of the Neuro Ball is that when you split it into the two-domes, you’ll find a small black ball inside.    About the size of a large marble, this black ball can be used to get a deeper release of the foot muscles which is especially beneficial for certain conditions such as hammertoes, plantar fasciitis and neuromas.

5. Dishwasher Safe

The final fun fact about the Neuro Ball is that it is made of food-grade silicone, is easily cleaned and can even be washed in the dishwasher.  This makes cleaning the Neuro Ball between clients super easy and quick.

As you consider the benefits of a daily foot release, remember that the tools you use can greatly impact results.    The Neuro Ball is designed to optimize results and to increase ease of use.   Below is how we recommend doing our 5-point foot release at least once a day.  So, grab your Neuro Ball, and let’s get started!
